Welcome to Biocentric Solutions Inc., a world leader in applying fingerprint biometric technology to state-of-the-art products and solutions for physical access control (PAC), handheld, mobile, wireless environments, and large scale, consumer product applications. |
|
Secure Physical Access Control Biocentric Solutions offers a reliable, easy to use solution to the growing concerns for security and control over company or personal resources. From a single door to an enterprise-wide networked solution, Biocentric Solutions' CombiFamily of products is today's solutions for applications including secure access and time and attendance. Biocentric Solutions physical access biometric readers are integrated fingerprint authentication units that compare fingerprint data stored on a token to real-time fingerprint data. Each product uses a different smart card or other token. They are available as single units or networked units and include four standard outputs: Wiegand, RS-232, RS-485, and Digital I/O. |

Keeping It Secure Unique to our products, the end user maintains control of his or her fingerprint. Because the fingeprint template is stored on a token there is no database of fingerprints, so users accept our systems much more readily because "big brother" doesn't have their fingerprints on file and there's no database to compromise. Handheld, Mobile, and Wireless Security In addition to PAC devices, the BioHub and BioSentry provide biometric security for businesses that require mobile access to secure resources or information. These solutions provide any time/any place security to handheld devices that operate in Windows® CE or Pocket PC 2002 environments by storing the fingerprint template within the personal device. |

Large Scale, Consumer Product Applications Biocentric Solutions' unique Low Power Algorithm (LPA) for fingerprint verification is optimized for processor speeds as low as 48-MHz (16-bit data path) and 33-MHz (32-bit data path). This LPA is ideally suited for large-scale commercial applications that have limited power capacity, such as cell phones, PDAs, pocket PCs, wearable computers, and door locks. |
